Wooden Blocks Wall ArtI received these 9 wooden blocks from Club Scrap’s “Chapter One” Stamp Kit. I decided to alter the wood blocks into a wall hanging for my scrapbook/stamp room. Each of the four sides says some thing different – “Create” “Stamp it” “Scrapbook” and “Inspire” – I embellished with lots of ribbon and flowers.
Instructions:
1. Drill holes in wood blocks.
2. Cut cardstock into pieces the size of the woo
d blocks.3. Using modge podge and adhere cardstock to blocks. Let dry.
4. String blocks onto long piece of ribbon.
5. Tie 3 short strips of ribbon in between each
block on the center ribbon. This will hold the blocks apart on the ribbon as it hangs.6. Cover chipboard (or magnetic letters as I found at the dollar store) with cardstock with modge podge.
7. Adhere to the blocks using Crafter’s Pick glue.
8. Embellish any block that doesn’t house a letter with a flower.
Hope you enjoy this tutorial! Good luck and have fun!!
