July Artist Team Challenge

July Artist Team Challenge

Inspired by the July NBUS Challenge on the Club Scrap chat forum, the July challenge is to make pages, cards, or other projects featuring a “frame” (or frames) designed using rubber stamps or stencils.

Supplies:
Cardstock
Watercolor crayons
Watercolor pen
Black ink
Removable Painter's tape

Instructions:

Fold 8.5x11 sheet of white cardstock in half. Rubberstamp border in black india ink, let dry.

Use removable painter's tape and cover up the edges of the card front panel as shown, and then use watercolor crayons and watercolor pen to fill in the inner square with colors. Remove tape and let dry.

Once dry, rubberstamp images just slightly over the edges of the watercolored box as shown.

Here is the another two versions I made using same technique:

Club Scrap Vintage Botany Blog Hop

Vintage Botany Blog Hop!!

Hello and welcome to today's blog!!  Today I am working with Club Scrap's digital Vintage Botany Kit

This first layout is precious to me, this photo is my very dear friend Betty.  My pup, Taffy, and I go visit her all the time when she lived just down the street, and then again, when she had to move into a nursing home a couple months ago.  Unfortunately, she passed away this weekend.  I am very saddened, but she has been struggling for weeks with swallowing issues, so I know she is in a better place and now with her husband and son, whom she has been missing for years now.

The next two layouts are of my own mom - who is still alive and well - thankfully!! - the lowest one is of all her dahlias - she has a zillion - they are her HAPPY PLACE!!

Thanks for stopping by...now for more great stuff -
