Project Tutorial - Journal & Bookmark

This is always a nice little gift to make someone, perhaps as a Teacher’s gift, or thank you gift, etc.

Supplies needed:

* Club Scrap “Mocha Java” kit papers & rubberstamps
* Modge podge & foam brush
* Composition notebook
* Ink
* Adhesive
* Fibers
* Sizzix “tag” diecut/machine

1. Brush modge podge onto the entire front cover, starting just to the right of the black binding tape. Do not put the adhesive onto the binding tape.
2. Add a piece of patterned paper, butting it right up to that binding tape and press to get full coverage and all the air pockets out of it. Let stand just a minute to make sure it starts drying and holds in place.
3. Flip the journal open and trim paper at an angle on the corners so that when you fold it over there is less bulk on the corners.
4. Brush modge podge on the inside cover and adhere the flaps of the patterned paper down.
5. Cut another piece of patterned paper just the right size to cover the inside of the front cover nicely and cover up anything left on front inside cover and all the seams.
6. Repeat process on back cover.
7. Cut out a couple of tags and rubberstamp coffee cup image.
8. Tie the tags together and this can serve as a book mark.

Good luck and have fun!
