Beaded Paper Ornaments
Supplies:
-Cardstock: Club Scrap
-Rubberstamps: Club Scrap
-Inks: Ranger Industries
-Beads: Bistro Beads/Club Scrap
-Waxed Cording
Tools needed: circle punches in graduated sizes; beading tools, needle
Instructions:
1. Cut 8 circles. Two of each of 4 sizes (small, med, large, extra large), one in one color and one in another complimentary color (red/green, light blue/dark blue, etc).
2. Rubberstamp various images onto the circles. Ink edges.
3. Take a 12-inch piece of cording, attach a crimp bead to one of the ends, add 3 beads, then add one of the smallest circles. Add three more beads. Add next sized circle in alternating color, repeat until all circles are threaded onto cord. Add last three beads.
4. String on a crimp bead, create a loop (trimming as need to appropriate loop size), feed end of cording back through the crimp bead and crimp.
Alternative options:
* Try with varying shapes of stars (sizzix die); squares; flowers; or other shapes.
* Add Stickles to add sparkle to the ornament.
