Cards - Slenderope Fan
“Friend of Mine”
Slender Envelope Fan
I loved the look of the slender envelope and was excited to see what I could create with it. I used the Slender Envelope Template from Stampers' Sampler Tempting Templates. This was a fun little creation to make. Most all materials shown in this project are from Club Scrap.
Supplies List:
Cardstock: Club Scrap
All rubberstamps are from Club Scrap
Ranger’s Adirondack Inks: Ginger, Terra Cotta, Caramel, Butterscotch, Espresso
Ranger’s Distressed Inks: Vintage Photo
Superior Noir Black Palette ink
Ribbons/Fibers
Eyelets
Adhesive
Template (from Stampers’ Sampler Tempting Template)
Instructions:
1. Using template, trace and cut out 6 envelopes.
2. Score fold lines.
3. Rubberstamp various images and sentiments in light inks onto envelops.
4. Ink edges.
5. Fold and adhere closed.
6. Attach an eyelet about 1/2 inch from the end of the bottom of the envelope.
7. Repeat steps 2-6 for all 6 envelopes.
8. Using black ink, rubberstamp the letters FRIEND, one letter per envelope.
9. Stack envelopes aligning the eyelets. Run a few decorative fibers or ribbons through all 6 eyelets, tie together, and knot to secure.
10. Cut 6 cards, each 1 inch by 5 inches, rounding one end.
11. On each of the 6 cards, attach an eyelet about ½ inch from the rounded end. Attach fibers or ribbons tying through the eyelets.
12. Now you can fan them open to read your message.
The final folded size of the envelope is 1 1/8 inches by 5 inches.
Good luck and have fun!!
