JULY ARTIST CHALLENGE & GIVEAWAY
The July challenge is to create Artist Trading Cards and Pocket Letters since they are very popular right now. ATCs are 2.5 x 3.5 inch pieces of artwork...the size of a playing card or sports trading card. The idea of creating nine ATCs to fit into a Pocket Trading Card Protector and mailing it to a friend became the “Pocket Letter”.Sorry these pictures have a lot of reflection from the light source, photos don't quite do it justice, but hopefully you get the gist of it!!
I decided to go with the Graffiti kit. In this kit, there was perfect little cut outs that I was able to trim down and easily embellish to use as a start for the pocket letter project;
I stamped various images like the Oopsy Daisy flower and Dahlia flower, cut out butterfly, then stamped script image over top. Then I took these along with the Clubscrap Graffiti cut outs and splattered black, white, and lime green paint onto them, and let them dry.
On the black pieces of cardstock, I heat embossed images and sentiments with white embossing powder to make them really pop off the page.
The pocket in the lower right hand corner, is a shaker box filled with white flower beads and lime mini beads.
This is the back side of the Pocket Letter - I inserted some goodies in the pockets including, metal tags with words, lime flower beads, extra butterflies, lime flower cut outs, lime filagree pieces, and some cute little silver boy/girl charms.
So for the first time ever - I am going to have a GIVEAWAY on my blog - I am going to give this pocket letter to someone randomly. All you have to do to be entered in my random drawing - is post a comment and add the hashtag #ClubScrapRocks and I will put you into drawing!! I will pull the winner in two weeks. I will reply to the comment of the winner and request you email me your address after the drawing and I will get this sweet pocket letter out in the mail to the winner! Good luck to all!!
