Welcome to my blog today!!  Well I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season!  I have been so busy getting all my ducks in a row for Christmas and enjoying our visiting elves!

Card 1 - Tag Card
1.  Stamp Collage image, trim out into a 'tag', using diecut circles - cut 2 circles in the steering wheel section of the image.

 2.  Remove the small center section and discard.  Punch hole in top of tag and add an eyelet.

 3. Cut a panel of patterned paper and run through a crimper:

 4.  Cut a mat from patterned paper, ink edges to make it antiqued:

 5.  Distress edges, create some folds and ink as shown:

 6.  Mat tag onto crmped panel:

7. Add some fibers and embellishments.

Here is the final embellished card:

Card 2 - Ship Card

Instructions:
Stamp ship collage onto cream card stock.  Die cut out and tear a small section off of it.  Diecut another circle from light green cardstock the same size as the ship circle.  Stamp the image of cursive writing onto the green circle.

 Mat the ship circle over the top of the cursive circle as shown:

 Mat onto dark brown cardstock:

 Cut a mat from patterned cardstock for card back and distress the edges and ink:

Stamp two circles of the globes on light, diecut out.  Stamp compass and diecut.

 Mat the globe diecuts on brown cardstock and add silver eyelets:

 Adhere the 3 diecuts onto the card mat as shown:

 Tie a ribbon through the eyelets and add an anchor charm:

Adhere ship circle and mat it all onto the card back.  Stamp Happy Birthday onto cardstock, trim out and ink and adhere as shown:

ClubScrap December Artist Challenge

Club Scrap Artist Challenge

This month's challenge is all about last-minute holiday gifts.  With Christmas only days away, we challenge you to share your last-minute gift ideas using Club Scrap papers, stamps, etc.  I decided to make a few gifts for my co-workers.  I found a template that didn't do exactly what I wanted it to do, so I modified it and came up with my own template to create this cute triangular box.

 

Supplies:

Cardstock

Rubberstamps

Ink

Adhesive

Goodies!!

Instructions:

Use template and Cut out and score lines.

Here is my first one cut out - score all of the lines shown in silver:

 Rubberstamp images onto the the cut out:

 Fold on score lines:

 Use sponge and sponge each scored lines:

 Glue the small triangular pieces to the sides:

 Here is a fully glued together:

 You can fold the 3 flaps overlaying one another to close up the box:

 Here are the 3 boxes I made:

 Fill the boxes with goodies:

December Technique Challenge - Bokeh #2

Painted 3 shades of Gellato onto white cardstock.  Let dry.  Used 'dots' stamp from Comfort Zone kit to create the Bokeh look onto the card back.  Stamp sentiment as shown and embellish as shown.

December Technique Challenge

December Technique Challenge at ClubScrap is Bokeh technique....Click here to participate or learn how to do technique.

Instructions:
1. Stamp butterfly in light blue ink onto white cardstock.  Using a waterbrush color in the image with more blue ink from ink pad.  This is creating the 'shadow' of the butterfly.

2.  Stamp butterfly in blank ink on scrap paper.  Color in butterfly with blue ink from gellatos, let dry, trim out butterfly.

3.  Using 3 shades of gellatos, make 3 puddles of water gellato inks.  Use a pencil eraser to place circles of the 3 colors around the butterfly as shown.
