Fire & Ice Blog Hop
Fire & Ice Blog Hop
Welcome to this month's ClubScrap Blog Hop!
Well I know this technique has been around forever, but honestly I had never tried the technique out myself. When I saw the cutouts from this month's kit - I thought it would be a perfect chance to give it a try. There is instructions all over the net for this "Waterfall" technique if you need further instructions than my photo shots here.
Supplies:
Yellow cut outs from kit
Blue cardstock to mat cut outs
11x3 yellow cardstock strip
1x5 blue cardstock strip
5x7 orange card back (folded measurement)
4-3/4x6-3/4 blue cardstock mat
2 brads
piece of ribbon
circle punches
adhesive
Rubberstamp
Ink
Instructions:
1. Mat cutouts
2. Adhere the ends (about 1 inch on each side) of the 1x5 strip to the mat, then use brads as well to adhere the 2 pieces together
3. Take yellow strip and score a line at 3inches, then at 3-3/4, 4.5, 5-1/4. Adhere the cut outs to the yellow strip. Start with the first piece and adhere the entire backside, then with the next 3 just adhere in the 3/4in section.
Repeat until all have been adhered
4. Punch a circle out of the card mat. Punch another circle out of a piece of scrap.
5. Adhere the orange circle onto the yellow strip.
6. Add ribbon.
7. Slip into card front and adhere yellow strip to blue card front as shown:
8. Adhere card front to card back
9. Once adhesive has set, you will be able to pull on the handle and move from panel to panel to panel. You can rubberstamp a saying when fully open.
