Just Dandy - GTG card #5

Here is another of the tri-fold cards from the Just Dandy GTG card kit.

On this one, I took a yellow piece of card stock, roughly 6 in x 2 in - I stamped a collage, using the grid image in brown, large dandelion in yellow and various little dandelions in dark green. Then I cut up the piece into 4 pieces each about 1 in x 1.5 in. I used a corner rounder to round each corner, inked edges in yellow, and adhered to the card front. This created a faux page of labels sort of look. Added a few additional pieces of cardstock for accent.

Just Dandy - GTG card #4

This, also from the Just Dandy GTG card kit, is one of the tri-fold cards.

I really liked out this one turned out. I turned the card lengthwise and on the wider side of the front fold, I stamped the 'grid' image in brown in various areas, inked the edges in yellow. I then stamped the mini dandelion in dark green, varying the height of the flower along the edge. Then on the thinner flap, I tore along the entire edge, then inked the edges with green. This gave sort of the feel of green grass along the bottom. I added a couple of yellow strips for accent and stamped the sentimnet in black.

Just Dandy - GTG card #3

Another one of the tiny gift enclosure cards from the Just Dandy GTG card kit.

Stamped the long sentiment in dark green directly onto the card back along the right hand side, ink card back edges in brown ink. Stamp the Dandelion Duo flowers image in yellow over top, but ensuring image starts more to the left in the unstamped area. Then I used brown distressed stickles and place a few sets of 3 dots as shown in image and let dry.

Just Dandy - GTG card #2

Here is another one of Just Dandy's GTG gift enclosure card.

On this particular card I just very simply took a piece of the patterned paper, I stamped the "A gift for you" sentiment in black. I used scissors to cut curvy line from top to bottom, attach these pieces to the card back leaving a small gap between the two. Used a paper piercer to poke holes down both sides of the cut line. Then I took metallic copper flossing thread and sewed it onto the card. You can't see the detail of the copper thread in this scan, but it is very neat looking in real life.

Just Dandy - GTG card #1

Well I had just a fabulous time working with this month's Greetings to Go card set this month.

I just adore these little itty bitty gift enclosure cards. This first one is so very simple. I repeatedly stamped the 'dandelion-weed weed weed' sentiment with toffee ink on the darker yellow cardstock mat, ink edges with brown ink. Attach to card back shifting a bit to make it catywompus (not sure if that really is a work or if it is, I am sure I misspelled it). Then on a the lighter greenish yellow cardstock, stamp the 'grid' stamp with brown ink, then stamp the 'mini dandelion' stamp 3 times about an inch apart. Cut the three images apart, ink edges with brown and attach to front as shown.

Cards - Retirement (Mocha kit)

Just a few fun retirement cards, seems like so many folks are retiring around me. So sad to see such good and close friends leaving the work place!

Use the Mocha and Mocha remix stamps to create these ones.

Gift idea - Glass etched pan (cricut)

Here is the gift I made my stepmom for Mother's day. She and my dad own a ranch called "Kaleidoscope Ranch" - where they have horses. So using my cricut I cut out the name of the ranch and a couple of horse images out of some vinyl. I used the negative of each and attached it to the glass pan. Then I used "Armour Etch" etching cream on the glass. Let it sit for ohhhh 10 minutes, wash off and remove the vinyl. Wash again and let dry. Turns out very cool.
