Cards - Money holders set #3

These are just some super simple money gift cards. I just cut the cardstock about a 3/4ths inch longer and half inch wider than a dollar bill. Made some score lines at the center, leaving about a 1/4 spine. In the spine I punched holes and fed waxed thread through and tied on the outside. On the inside you can just tuck your dollar bills and it creates sort of a "book" look. Rubberstamp and embellish front as desired.

Project - Retreat Project #6

WOW now check out this project - I soooooooooo love it - Terri is, of course, my hero - and comes up with the most beautimus projects ever!!! When I grow up I wanna be JUST LIKE HER!!!!

Anyways it is a beautiful wall hanging all based on 'home' as the theme - you can't really tell in the photo but it is VERY 3D - all of the panels are set up and vary in height - it is extremely cool - I can't wait to add my photos and display with pride on my wall.

This project from the ClubScrap Retreat is just fabulous - they called this the Photo Butler - since Pam Butler brought this idea to light - it is hard to tell in the photos but it is very 3D-ish and holds 6 photos per 2 page section - it is very cool!!

This project from ClubScrap's retreat was taught by Michael Strong of Michael Strong's rubberstamps. We created this fabulous matboard based stationary holder to hold a set of greeting cards. All of the projects used some of his wonderful rubberstamps - we did a bit of painting and a bunch of embossing on these cards. Fun fun fun!

Well better late than never - but here is a photo of - if I remember correctly, the first nights mini project from ClubScrap's retreat back in October. It starts out looking fairly normal and mellow - but once you get to the final opening - it is like POW and opens up all fancy snazzy razzuuu like - will be a great project to add a bunch of photos and give as a gift. I love it!!

Cards - All that Jazz GTG #7

Ok so here is another version of one of my latest batch of "Thank You" cards.

Sorry if it is a repeat but...I really really REALLY wanted to use my new rubberstamps I picked up at Retreat - they are (I think) called 'short sleeve pants' or something like that - not sure if they are GHM or not..but they are fabulous!!!

OK so what I did was take the standard cardstock base and cut off the top half of the front flap. Then I used an edge punch and punched twice to create the design on the front flap. Then I glued the front to the back at the side and bottom edges, leaving an unglued 'pocket' to insert the tag (cut with my sizzix die cut). I used the flower image and thanks on the tag, left a bit of room at the bottom to write my thank you, and used the strip of 2 digit numbers in lil boxes from the short sleeve pants stamps across the bottom of the card front. Added a bit of ribbon and poof a simple but elegant Thank you card.
