Vintage Botany Blog Hop!!
This first layout is precious to me, this photo is my very dear friend Betty. My pup, Taffy, and I go visit her all the time when she lived just down the street, and then again, when she had to move into a nursing home a couple months ago. Unfortunately, she passed away this weekend. I am very saddened, but she has been struggling for weeks with swallowing issues, so I know she is in a better place and now with her husband and son, whom she has been missing for years now.
The next two layouts are of my own mom - who is still alive and well - thankfully!! - the lowest one is of all her dahlias - she has a zillion - they are her HAPPY PLACE!!

ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about your dear friend Betty, I bet you brightened many of her days. So wonderful you took that photo! All your pages are beautiful. I also can't believe your Mother's Dahlia collection, and how organized she is with them. I have like five varieties that I dig up each fall and thought that was plenty, my sister has more, oh I have to show my sister that layout, she'll love it too. Thanks for sharing!
