St Patty day card

Made a card for my folks for St Pattys Day.  I used a heart shape die cut and used some patterned papers from Surfs Up kit from Clubscrap to create the clovers.  I rubberstamped the fleurs in green first, then attached the clovers.  Embellished with lil green gems.

This was a hand drawn heart card, used lots of watercolor pans and pens to embellish.

Shine on Sunflower card

Stamp collage image (Clubscrap) 2 times on white cardstock.  On 1 of the 2 images, color the flower and leaf, trim each out.  Using popdots or foam adhesive, adhere cut out images on top of other black/white image.  Mat and add sentiment.

My sister and I followed one of Andrea Gomoll's youtube videos to create this lovely lady, Jasmin, from Aladdin. I love Andrea's work, it is beyond amazing, I highly recommend you check her out HERE.

Backwoods birthday

Just a quick birthday card for my hubby.  He is big into Elk and the outdoors, so I just stamped various trees in 2 shades of green ink to create background.  Then I stamped elk in black in forefront on a circle adhered with pop dots to give dimension.

Pretty simple card with a watercolor background.  Hand-drawn birds, sentiment, and branches.  Splattered with black and white acrylic paints.  Heart die-cut adhered with pop-dots.

Adoption card

A friend of mine just recently adopted a young man and I wanted to send a cute card congratulating her on her new addition.  I used versamark to stamp the images (I think these are from The Angel Company but they are no longer in business to confirm) and embossed with white embossing powder.  I think used watercolor paints to color.  I used a notebook page die cut.

Sympathy card challenge

So I don't know if you have ever watched "Roll for Sandwich" on TikTok but it inspired me to create a similar game to determine creating a card.  I let chance choose design/embellishments/etc and I had to meet that challenge and this is the card I ended up with.  So here was the challenge given to me:

Color = Green

Theme = Sympathy

Shape = Triangle

Technique = Splatter 

Embellishment 1 = Wire

Embellishment 2 = Frame

I think it came out pretty good, it was great fun doing this challenge.

Dreaming of Spring

A couple of pretty simple cards for Mother's Day.  White card back with script (Clubscrap) and inked edges.  Die cut the Fleur from green cardstock and stamped with script stamp.  Die cut flowers from watercolor paper and painted watercolors to create texture/depth.  Added some metal filagree flower stamen and brads to the center of each flower.

Geared up for your birthday!!

Made this card for my son for his birthday.  He is big into trucks, so I thought this steampunk style card is right up his alley.  I used some fun gears and mesh die cuts as a base, then covered with metal tape (you get from the HVAC section at hardware store).  Use an embossing tool to really get definition and make those diecuts pop.  Once done, paint the thing with black acrylic paint, let dry then buff the top layer off to bring the silver back, really builds definition.

Some Bunny Love You CAS card

Some bunny loves you - just trying my hand at a few CAS (Clean and Simple) cards - so this is a fun little Easter card for my folks.  Fold a white card, stamp bunny image, then cut a rectangle out of another piece of white cardstock and layer over bunny with foam dots/tape.  Stamp sentiment onto light pink cardstock banner and adhere.  Added a couple of pink gems.  Stamp and sentiment from Scandinavia kit (Club Scrap).

Butterfly cards

Just a couple of vibrant cards using my new Butterfly die cut. I first stamped a script font from Clubscrap onto a piece of white cardstock and then sprintz'd cardstock with Dylusion's After Midnight and Vibrant Turquoise ink sprays.  Made 2 cards using negative and position image of Butterfly die cut.

Baby Brag Book

I made a lil baby brag book for my niece who recently had her first baby... She had sent or posted quite a few photos in the first few months after the birth, so I was able to put this together and then added a few pages with empty photo mats for them to add in additional photos.  She really likes owls and so I decorated a lot of the album with a little owl from the Club Scrap Scandinavia kit.  Here is a few sample pages out of the book:

I hand carved the little chevron stamp from an eraser and stamped in three different colors of inks across the card front - then added various images and sentiments from my ClubScrap stash to create some fun cards!!

Hand carved rubberstamps - Triangular rectangle

So at the Clubscrap retreat, we were introduced to carving our own rubberstamps out of erasers in one of the workshops we attended.  Well I hadn't played with my carving tool since I got home - but when I was at the Dollar Tree - I grabbed bunch of rectangular erasers and thought - why not give it a go...so I carved this set of triangles in a rectangle and then proceded to make a number of cards using the stamp, then embellished further with additional ClubScrap images and sentiments to finish off these cards:

Hand carved rubberstamps - Double circles

So at the Clubscrap retreat, we were introduced to carving our own rubberstamps out of erasers in one of the workshops we attended.  Well I hadn't played with my carving tool since I got home - but when I was at the Dollar Tree - I saw this big round eraser and a bunch of rectangular erasers and thought - why not give it a go...so I took that 'donut' eraser and cut/carved a bunch of graduating 'circles' out of it and then proceded to make a number of cards using the circles as sort of frames for the images.
