Club Scrap Big Top Blog Hop

Welcome to my blog today!!  Well things are not much better electronically speaking at my house.  We did get a new router (no more microwave dropping our wireless service) and a new internet service provider but now only the 'wireless' machines will work, all of the hard wired machines won't connect to the internet.  Weird I know!!!  It must be a cabling issue, hubby is outta town, will have him check into it when he returns... But we at least have internet that is no longer spotty, everyone is very happy about that!  I still don't have my laptop.  The local guy called and said after 3 tries he just can't fix it.  So now I have to ship it off to the warranty company to see if they can fix it OR replace it.  They said this process would be another 2 weeks at a minimum and its been 5 weeks so far...I am going wonky!!

This month I made a fun little 'Circus Ticket' album.  It has 7 pages on a plastic split ring.  It is embellished with ribbons, flowers, tags, cutouts, and stamped images.

Very quick and easy project.  Cut 14 pieces of cardstock 4x6 out of patterned papers from the Club Scrap Big Top kit.  Trim out the four corners of each page to look like a ticket as shown:

Adhere two 'tickets' back to back.  Ink edges.  Stack up the 7 pages and use a cropadile to put a hole through all pages.  Put the pages onto a split ring.

Embellish the pages - here is what mine look like:

ClubScrap Quad Prints - Heart card

Here is another card using Club Scrap Quad Prints.  I cut out the panels and used my sizzix diecutter to cut out hearts of each pattern.

Adhere hearts to card back.  Trim them down to the card size.

ClubScrap Quad Prints - Quilt cards

 Todays post is using ClubScrap's Quad Prints.  This is the one I used for these two cards.

Cut it up into four pieces.  Then cut each panel in 3/4 in wide strips.

Punch a square and place it in the center of the card.  Then start adhering the strips as shown.

 Trim the strips around the card as you go.

 Here is the final card.

For this card - I did, what they call 'Flying geese' pattern:

ClubScrap October Artist Challenge

Club Scrap Artist Challenge

This month's challenge is all about the Club Stamp text weight printed papers ClubScrap lovingly refer to as "Quad Prints".   I totally am loving these quad prints - they all compliment each other so nicely and allow for a lot of options.  I made 4 cards today - these are fast and very fun using the quad papers this month!

Take quad print and cut into 4 separate pieces as shown:

 Stack up the 4 pieces and cut them on the diagonal, in a sunburst pattern:

 Separate out the pieces and create 4 cards as shown.  Ink the edges.

 Embellish cards as shown:

2015 Club Scrap Retreat ATC card

Here is ClubScrap Retreat ATC card I made for this years' retreat.  I think I made 24 of them to trade with the other lovely ladies at retreat.

For these ATC's, I covered a piece of card stock with foil tape (from Home Depot).  Use alcohol inks to color the foil tape. Run the piece through an embossing folder.  Embellish ATC with stamped cutouts, flowers, ribbons, etc.  Then I cut an identical piece of cardstock to cover the back side of the ATC - to hide the flaps of the brads and allows you/me a flat surface to write my name and details.

Club Scrap Retreat - Door sign (2015)

Good morning.  Some of you may have seen this sign on our motel room door at the October 2015 Club Scrap Retreat.  If you did go to retreat but didn't make it onto the "executive floor" (wink wink) then you might not have gotten to see the sign either...so I thought I would post.  I used Club Scrap Transformations kit - I just LOVE the colors in this kit!!
