"Picnic" Club Scrap Blog Hop

Picnic Basket with Mini Album
Welcome to this month's Blog Hop!!!  I am totally loving this kit! A LOT!!!
This is a fun little basket.  You can put goodies in it, a set of greeting cards, or a mini album.

Supplies:
Patterned cardstock
Ink pad
Brads

Instructions:
1.  Use this template on a 12x12 to create the base of the basket:
2.  Remove the 4 triangles from the 12x12 sheet, cut on the cut lines, and fold on the fold lines - final will look like this:
3.  Punch holes 1/2 inch from the top of the triangle and the 12 skinny flaps like this:

4.  Cut a 'handle' for the basket 12 inches long and roughly 1 inch wide.  Punch holes in the end of each of the handle.

5.  Using brad, thread the handle, then thread on one slender tab from one side, then the other side, then the next tab till all 6 tabs on one side of the basket is done, then thread on the triangle. Fold the brad legs to finish off side.  Repeat on other side of basket.

6. Ink edges.
7.  Cut a 'lid' for the basket, using this template:

8.  Cut and remove the gray pieces.  Fold on the fold lines.  Fold the yellow tabs down, put adhesive on the yellow tabs and tuck them down in between the basket and the handle.
Create a mini album to drop in it.  This little album was created but cutting 4x8 pieces of cardstock and adhering together. Decorate.
