Cards - Slenderope

“Thanks” 4 all U do Slender Envelope

I loved the look of the slender envelope and was excited to see what I could create with it. I used the Slender Envelope Template from Stampers' Sampler Tempting Templates. This is a fun little project to make. Most all materials shown in this project are from Club Scrap.

Supplies List:
Patterned cardstock: Club Scrap
All image rubberstamps are from Club Scrap
Alphabet rubberstamps are from Hero Arts & Stamp Craft
Ranger’s Adirondack Inks: Ginger, Terra Cotta, Caramel, Butterscotch, Espresso
Ranger’s Distressed Inks: Vintage Photo
Superior Noir Black Palette ink
Ribbon: Michaels
Adhesive
Slender Envelope Template (from Stampers’ Sampler Tempting Template)

Instructions:

1. Enlarge the template by about 50%.
2. Cut the envelope out and score the fold lines.
3. Measure and cut out (6) ½ inch squares down the center of the envelope using an exacto knife.
4. Ink edges and rubberstamped various words and images on envelope using light colored inks.
5. Fold and adhere envelope closed ensuring that you have a solid backing rather than a seam showing.
6. Using alphabet stamps rubberstamp thru the 6 small windows onto the back of the envelope “4 ALL U do” in black ink.
7. Cut a card to fit inside the envelope, should measure about 1 5/8 in by 8 1/8 in. Round one end.
8. Ink edges and rubberstamp in light inks various images and sentiments on the card.
9. Insert card into envelope completely. In black ink, rubberstamps “THANKS” onto the card through the 6 small windows.
10. Attach ribbon with stapler on round end of card.

The final folded size of the envelope is 1.75 inches by 7.5 inches.

Good luck and have fun!!
