Project Tutorial - Triptych

Timeless Triptych

I created this gorgeous folding frame to hang nicely on my wall – it just turned out so beautiful in my opinion. All supplies used in project are from ClubScrap.com

Supplies needed:
Kraft Triptych (from Club Stamp’s Generation kit)
Cardstock (ClubScrap Serengeti kit)
Mosaic tiles (Club Scrap Mosaic Kit)
Ink
Paint
Crafter’s pick adhesive
Modge Podge
Foam brushes
Ruler
Craft knife
Handles (comes with Club Stamp Triptych kit)

1. Using a ruler and pencil, mark the rectangular openings on the front two smaller flaps.
2. Using craft knife, carefully cut the openings. Using the extra pieces of mat/kraft board, create a little divider in the opening.
3. Paint entire triptych with lime green paint. Let dry
4. Using triptych as a template, trace around it onto cardstock. Trim out cutting roughly a 1/4th inch off, to allow for a lime green border. Repeat this for both front and back of all three sections. The front two side sections will be trimmed shorter, thus just putting cardstock on the upper portion of the doors above the cut-out openings.
5. Ink all edges of cardstock.
6. Put a layer of modge podge down onto the Triptych and place the pieces of cardstock into place. Once in place, cover cardstock with a coat of modge podge. Let dry.
7. Mat photos and adhere to Triptych as desired.
8. Using crafter’s pick adhesive, adhere small mosaic tiles all around the cut out openings on both doors. Let dry.
9. Using crafter’s pick adhesive, adhere larger mosaic tiles all along the top of the Triptych on all three sections. Let dry.
10. Add handles using crafter’s pick adhesive.

Good luck and have fun!
