Club Scrap's "Cinema" Blog Hop

Good morning bloggers!!  Welcome to another month of the best scrapbook company kit ever!!!  Man summer has been killing me, way too stinking busy...I love that I have had to the opportunity to spend quality time with a lot of my family members and create some great memories, but I am also looking forward to getting back into my old boring routine once school starts back up here very shortly!!

Just a couple of quick cards this month - this is such a great kit - you are going to just love it!  I can foresee some great scrapbook layouts too!

Supplies:
Cinema plain cardstock
Cinema patterned cardstock
Cinema rubberstamps
ink
paper flowers
brads
embossing powder

Instructions:
1.  Stamp 'filmstrip' image onto white cardstock.  The cardstock is a bit slippery in feel and instead of me waiting for ink to dry, I used black embossing powder on image to speed up process.

2.  Stamp various 'reels' images with sandstone ink on white cardstock.  Ink edges with sandstone ink.
3.Mat stamped cardstock onto maroon cardstock.  Cut a piece of patterned cardstock and mat on cardback.  Adhere all as shown:
4.  Stamp 'star' images with black ink on stamped panel. 'Miss you like crazy' in each panel of the film strip with purple ink and adhere to card front.  Add brads to paperflowers and attach as shown.

Have a great Bday!!

On this card, I used two shades of ink, green and blue, and painter's tape.  Cut a strip of tape and put on the ink pad.  Once tape is covered in ink, place on cardstock, press solid, then remove tape, the ink will remain behind.  Stamp image and sentiment.
